necademy.com is an online LMS platform for learners willing to get their education in the principles, practices, and theory of law (legal education). Claudia Winkler (Dr. Claudia Winkler LL.M. (Harvard)) from Vienna, Austria is the author and the founder as well as the principal lecturer.
As the goal for our team served that of creating an easy-to-use flexible with great functionality for completing online courses and settings for hosting online courses.
LMS Technical Specification
- Have a platform developed based on Wordpress with one of the LMS (Learning Management System) plugins.
- Have the option to accept incoming payments from learners for tuition done.
- Have the option of providing learners with differentiated access to courses depending on the payment.
- Be able to post video tutorials with viewing threshold settings for the lesson.
- Have the option to issue a Graduation Certificate to learners after completing the course.
- Be able to build a database of users and subscribers to communicate with them through newsletters and forums.
- Have flexible management of courses, with the division into modules and lessons.
- Provide the possibility of creating mini-landing pages for each online course.
OUR WORKS
Before starting work, we conducted our meticulous research and tried several LMS plugins for Wordpress. Completing this, we decided to choose the Learndash LMS plugin as the most flexible and developed option to go with.
It occurred that despite its literally enormous capabilities, there were still many aspects missing in management of the administrative part of it, and many functional options to be missed while using the available Learndash LMS tools. Therefore, we began to study it "from the inside" and thoroughly finalized in the process of developing an online platform.
